Texas Longhorn Calves - Superstition Mountains
We spotted these two Texas Longhorn Calves during an early morning drive along Peralta Road south of the Superstition Mountains. Longhorn calves are typically born with a reddish-brown coat which eventually fades to a lighter color as they grow older.
This photograph shows their red and white coats in full glory in the morning light with the Superstition Mountains in the background.
