Antelope Canyon is by far one of the most impressive areas in the southwest. The curves of the rock lit by the shafts of sunlight in this slot canyon produce some of the most striking photographs you will ever see. Teresa and I liked this area of the canyon, with the sun shining straight down. However, it was missing something, as we were discussing how to set up the shot, our guide had the idea of putting some sand on the step and letting it cascade down the steps. Shooting this with a slow shutter speed gave us this great smooth sand fall effect.
