Sabino Canyon is located at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains in southern Arizona. The jewel of the canyon is Sabino Creek. The creek starts at nearly 9,000 feet near the summit of Mt Lemmon and descends steeply through the canyon. Thanks to snowmelt and summer monsoon rains, Sabino Creek flows all year.
