When you think of the southwest, many iconic images come to mind. If you are of my age, one that comes to mind is the Roadrunner cartoon by looney tunes. When we moved to the Phoenix area, our house backed up to the desert, and Roadrunners were in abundance. I was a bit disappointed to see that they do not have blue combs and do not say "Meep Meep". Teresa was able to capture this close-up of a Roadrunner.
