We had one of our collectors’ request photographs of Aspen Trees, so we went north in October, hoping the timing was right. On the north rim of the Grand Canyon, we were in luck since all the trees had just turned, and it looked like not a single leaf had fallen. For this photograph, we arrived very early in the morning before the sun had come up. As the sun rose, the trees were covered in mist, and the flowers and plants on our walk towards them were covered with frost. As the sun got higher, I went into the Aspen forest. I decided to lay on the ground to enjoy this perspective and capture this moment. Everything glowed in this lighting. Keith Peters
