The Many Side Canyons of the Grand Canyon
The only format that works to attempt to capture the vase scenes of the Grand Canyon is a panoramic photograph. This gorgeous panoramic photograph highlights the many side canyons that cut through the Kaibab Limestone that make up the Grand Canyon.
The canyon in the foreground is Pipe Creek canyon. If you follow this canyon with your eye, you will get a glimpse of the Colorado River. Looking across, you will see the Bright Angel canyon. The Bright Angel canyon follows the path of the Bright Angel fault; this fault intersects the canyon from north to south.
