Barn of Olmstead Place Historical State Park
Located just outside of Ellensburg, Washington. Standing in front of this 1908 barn surrounded by early farming implements. With the thrashing machine parked in front, you feel you have been transported back to the early 1900s. That feeling is only broken by the cars and trucks flying by on Interstate 90, only yards away.
On the day of our visit, heavy rains were on the way, and the cloud cover provided us with filtered sunlight that brought out the red color barn of the barn.
This barn is part of the Barn Quilt Trail of Kittitas County.
