Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America, known for its clear cobalt blue water nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Visiting Lake Tahoe after a snowstorm makes this area even more special. We arrived early in the morning, downed our show shoes, and headed to the lake. On this clear cold morning, we had abundant sunshine allowing the lake's blue water to contrast against the snow in the foreground and on the mountains in the distance.
