Grand Canyon Railway #4960

We love everything old or rusty from our history, so of course, we love steam trains!

We took the historic 4960 steam train on the Grand Canyon Railway, traveling from Williams to the breathtaking Grand Canyon.

What an adventure!

The town of Williams was so fun to explore, and what better destination is there than the Grand Canyon, with endless gorgeous views to see and so much to explore!

From foggy to glowing with a rainbow or sunset, nothing compares to the Grand Canyon.

We were entertained by the gorgeous views and singing cowboys on our trip there and back.

The entire experience is truly unmatched, especially since it includes our wonderful history.

The 4960 is a 2-8-2 "Mikado" built in 1923 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia.
