Goodding's Verbena (Glandularia gooddingii)
Goodding's Verbena is native to Arizona, and we found this one growing along Cottonwood Creek in the Four Peaks Wilderness.
Goodding's Verbena, also known as Southwestern Mock Vervain, is a perennial wildflower native to the southwestern United States, including Arizona. This wildflower features clusters of small, fragrant flowers with a wide range of colors, including lavender, purple, and pink shades. The flowers have five petals and a tubular shape, attracting a variety of pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
