Welcome to our fine art photography gallery of Zion National Park Photographs.
With the canyon twists and turns for miles, the Narrows hike in Zion National Park, is one of the most unique hiking trails in the world. For millions of years, the Virgin River has been carving its way through layers of rock, forming the Zion Narrows. The work of the Virgin River has resulted in a very tight canyon with walls towering to over 2,000 feet. The canyon walls are so high and narrow that direct sunlight is a rare sight, even though I did this hike on a very sunny fall day. The slot canyon and the Virgin River create the perfect conditions for a landscape photographer.
